My goal is to provide the best Primary Care you can get…for about the same as a gym membership per patient. Kids are less ($25/month), and seniors are a little more ($85/month), with everyone else falling into a $45-65/month plan. The membership will run you less than your coffee addiction or insurance co-pay!
If you enroll as my patient, I will not bill your insurance at all. You pay your monthly fee to keep my number on a sticky note or in your cell phone, and call me when you need me, or answer when I call you to talk about an issue. If you need to go to the ER or hospital, your insurance will cover whatever they are contractually obligated to cover.
For my patients, their insurance plan will be more like a ‘safety net’. You can still use it for your blood tests, X-rays, MRI’s and medications at the pharmacy (but I may be able to get those at more affordable rates too) and they may or may not cover them, according to the plan you have. Your insurance will work just like it always has (or not work, if you have a bad plan or insurance company…). I work outside of your insurance plan, and you pay me, not the insurance company who then pays me.
Your first payment will include the enrollment fee and first month of service. Complete the enrollment on-line and set up payment with bank account, debit or credit card. Continuity of care is best in order to obtain and maintain health and continued membership is preferred.
During any enrolled month, you can call me, text me, schedule a house call (those are an additional cost), or schedule to meet me at my office. I do require an in person visit with all local new patients. There is no co-pay or deductible for each of those visits with me.
The initial enrollment fee plus first month is not refundable but if after that time, you wish to cancel, your refund will be prorated. Written notice is required to cancel. I can put your account on hold, but if you wish to return, there may be additional fees.
I am currently open for New Patient enrollment. I will see Black Hills patients in person but if you are in CA or ID, I’m happy to enroll you for Telehealth Only care. You’ll get my phone number to text or call as well as virtual visits.

Direct Primary Care (DPC)
This model of primary care is newer but growing, it's the way doctors and patients used to be- in a direct relationship without insurance companies and the government interference. In this model, there is only a private contract between you and the doctor. We do not take or bill any kind of insurance, including Medicare. This is a membership model of healthcare in which the patient pays a flat monthly fee to become a member. The main benefit of this membership is to have access to a doctor that truly cares about you.
