I have always been a proponent of the evidence-based practice of medicine and the use of common sense. In March 2020 those two things disappeared from a vast majority of providers and hospitals. I still do not fully understand it but I never stopped treating patients and never closed my doors.
There is treatment for sarsCoV2 and the earlier treatment is started, the better. There is no need to wait for an expensive and imperfect test to start treatment. There is no need to be fearful. There is no need to take an experimental genetic drug for a viral illness with a greater than 99% survival rate.
There are many ways to limit the poor outcomes that may occur with this or any illness- early treatment, decreasing risk factors (i.e. lose weight, control medical conditions), and supporting your immune system. I provide early outpatient treatments with the goal of keeping you OUT of the hospital. I provide treatment for adverse reactions of the shot and for prolonged symptoms after covid-19 infection/shot.
